Overall purpose of the role

Provides administrative supply chain support with a focus on warehousing activities      

Geographic scope: Base (Al Mansoria + Al Sokhnah)                                                                                                                              

This role has a base focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines at base level. The role contributes to the development of base strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks.                      

Main responsibilities                                                                            

To achieve the overall and specific position’s objectives the store keeper will perform the following tasks and undertake the following responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Warehouse/ Store:

  1. To exercise general control over all activities in DRC/ DDG warehouse/ stores located in Al Mansoria + Al Sokhnah.
  2. To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.    
  3. To maintain proper records.
  4. Overall supervision of items movement and warehouse/ store management.
  5. Receives, stores, and issues of items upon GRN, RO GIV as signed and approved by relevant authority
  6. Supervises for proper update of documents (bin cards/stock cards warehouse register book) in accord to the items movement.
  7. Provides update report of items movement to the Supply Chain Team Leader on request
  8. Monitor safety, security, stock arrangement of the warehouse
  9. Effectively manage, check, sort and neatly sore all incoming items correctly.
  10. Maintain good work standards and controls, ensuring proper stock handling, record keeping and DRC Warehouse and Inventory Management systems
  11. Check new equipment before signed in, as per GRN report.
  12. Any other tasks assigned by Supply Chain Team Leader or Manager

Required experience and competencies

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

• Experience in administrative tasks, including filing systems.

• Experience in supply chain management including transport and distribution, warehouse and stock management
