Logistics Officer (Customs Clearance) Aden Branch

Tasks

This position is responsible for supporting Logistics Team in Aden branch for all shipments arriving. Main duties are included, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of Customs clearance papers
  • Ensuring on-time delivery schedule
  • Following Customs clearance process strictly
  • Follow up all client E-mail
  • Follow up exemptions
  • Ensuring on-time submission of customs clearance paper to authority

Experience:

Bachelor Degree Trade/ International Commerce

Skills:

  • 3 Years of working experience in Logistics/ Customs clearance field or similar roles Specific knowledge: Good knowledge of the contractual, legal and commercial aspects in the Logistics/ Customs field                        
  • Fluent writhing and spoken English language
  • Good organization skills, with ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated with a high level of creativity
  • Proactive, result-oriented
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external customers
  • Familiar and have practical experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Projects, PowerPoint, and other software’s
