Location: Aden, Yemen with frequent travels inside Yemen
Contract details: Permanent / Full-time–depending on the grant
Duration: A full time position with a probationary period of 3 months

About PAH Yemen Mission

Our Yemen Mission has been officially established in July 2019 and currently provides humanitarian assistance to 61,572 beneficiaries in Aden and Lahij Governorates in Yemen, as well as to Yemeni refugees in Markazi Refugee Camp in Djibouti. Our needs assessments for future interventions were recently conducted in Aden, Lahij, Ad Dahlee and Taizz Governorates in Yemen.

Position reports to: Head of Mission (HoM) Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing of all mission monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) activities, such as household interviews, Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant interviews, Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) and Participatory Impact Monitoring (PIM) activities, observations, baseline and endline studies
  • Designing assessment plans and tools including the design of data collection forms in Kobo tool box
  • Ensuring adherence of all PAH M&E policies, tools, and guidelines
  • Drafting new M&E manuals and guidelines when necessary
  • Coordinating the field work of enumerators and all M&E field staff including daily briefing, supervision, debriefing, and provision of relevant trainings and capacity building
  • Analysis of collected data
  • Ensuring reliability of collected data
  • Ensuring proper storage of collected data
  • Preparing M&E reports including field visits, PDMs, weekly and other reports
  • Providing M&E inputs to project tracking tools
  • Designing Complaint Feedback Mechanisms, and Satisfaction Surveys ensuring that the beneficiary feedback is regularly incorporated into all projects
  • Addressing complaints with assistance from the relevant staff members
  • Cooperating closely with programme team and technical experts at the HQ
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements: Educational Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor level degree in a relevant field (a Master degree would be an asset)

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection and analysis and reporting in a humanitarian setting with an NNGOs, INGOs or UN agencies

Languages: Excellent command of English and Arabic
