Field assistant ( قابلة مجتمع) 

Based in Taiz-Alturba (Mocha district)

الغرض من الوظيفة:  

سيكون "المساعد الميداني" مسؤولاً عن التدريب القابلات اثناء عملهم في المرافق الصحية خاصة في المديريات الساحلية ( المخا-موزع-الوازعية-ذوباب) مع زيارات دورية الي التربة، الاشراف على آلية صرف وسائل تنظيم الاسرة ، جمع التقارير الشهرية  والإشراف على جميع أنشطة المشروع في المرافق الصحية المستهدفة من خلال الزيارات الإشرافية. سيعمل تحت إشراف مباشر لضابط الصحة الإنجابية الذي ينبغي تقديم تقارير منتظمة وبيانات معينة إليه. سيمثل المساعد الميداني منظمة رعاية الأطفال تجاه السلطات المحلية ومكتب الصحة العامة والسكان ويتضمن عمل المساعد الميداني التنسيق مع السلطات المحلية ومكتب الصحة العامة والسكان بالمديريات المستهدفة

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Field District Supervisor will be responsible for on-job training, compliance monitoring, commodity tracking, data monthly reporting and supportive supervision and supervising all project activities in the targeted health facilities in the coastal districts ( Moch, Mauza’a, Alwazeyea and Dhobab) through supervising the district field team. He \ She will work under direct supervision of the Reproductive Health Officer to whom regular reports and certain data should be submitted. The Field assistant will represent SCI and actively participate in the coordination processes with Local Authorities, GHO and DHO, local representative and other stakeholders at the district level.

Role Dimensions: As well as overall responsibility of Field Office financial operations, this role has dotted technical reporting line to Roving Finance Coordinator & Country office Finance Manager & From Field Office Finance Officer.

المهام الرئيسية:

  •  الإشراف على الأنشطة الميدانية للمرافق الصحية والتوزيعات في المناطق المستهدفة وتقييمها، وجمع التقارير الأسبوعية والشهرية وتقديمها إلى موظف الصحة الإنجابية وعكس التقارير الميدانية المستلمة بعد التحقق منها وتجميعها وتلخيصها لتتناسب مع متطلبات الجهات المانحة.
  •  العمل جنبا إلى جنب مع إدارة المشاريع لتطوير وتتبع خطط العمل وخطط التوزيع وغيرها
  •  متابعة توزيع وسائل تنظيم الاسرة للمرافق الصحية المستهدفة بعد التنسيق مع الجهات المعنية
  •  الإشراف على تنفيذ جميع الأنشطة الميدانية في المناطق المستهدفة.
  • ضمان تنفيذ الأعمال وفقا لمعايير الجودة وضمن الجدول الزمني.
  •  الإبلاغ عن أي مشاكل في الوقت المناسب لموظف الصحة ومدير المكتب الميداني والرد بشكل صحيح لحلها.
  • الإشراف على توفير الخدمات الصحية في المرافق الصحية المستهدفة والتأكد من تنفيذها وفقا لبروتوكولات وزارة الصحة العامة والمانح.
  • عمل أي مهمة متعلقة بالوظيفة حسب طلب مدراء المشروع 

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Supervise and evaluate field activities for health facilities and distributions in target areas, collect weekly and monthly reports and submit them to the reproductive health Officer reflecting the received field reports after being verified, compiled and summarized to match SCI and donor's requirement’s.
  • Working together with project management to develop and track work plans, distribution plans and others.
  • Follow-up of General distribution and the consumption of the commodities to and from targeted health facilities.
  • Supervising implementation of all field activities in targeted areas.
  • Coordination and work in collaboration with all stakeholders at District level.
  • Ensuring implementation of works according to quality standards and within timeline.
  • Report any problems in a timely manner to the Health Officer and Field Office Manager and react properly for solving them.
  • Supervise the health services provision at the targeted health facilities and ensure implementing it as per the donor compliances and MoPH&P protocols.
  • Cooperate with logistics, finance and admin & HR in order to facilitate the field activities.
  • work of closely with health workers, storekeepers, and other support labourer’s in direct coordination with the project Officer.
  • Take up any job related assignment as requested by superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

المؤهلات   

  • شهادة جامعية (طب بشري) او دبلوم في مجال القبالة  Midwife or doctor

المهارات والخبرات

  • خبرة سنتين على الأقل مع خبرة عمل لمدة سنة مع المنظمات الدولية
  • يفضل اجادة الكتابة والنطق باللغة الإنجليزية
  • جيد في استخدام الحاسوب (الكمبيوتر)
  • القدرة والاستعداد للعمل والبقاء لفترات معينة   في الميدان
  • مرونة وقابلية التكيف والقدرة على الارتجال والعمل في بيئة مضطربة ومتقلبة
  • جيد في مهارات التعامل مع الآخرين مع القدرة على التواصل والتفاوض بشكل واضح وفعال على جميع المستويات، مع مراعاة الصعوبات الثقافية واللغوية.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential

  • A minimum of 2 years work experience, with 1 year of work experience in the field with NGOs.
  • Native Arabic with excellent English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent computer skills particularly in Microsoft Applications.
  • Ability and willingness to stay at the field.
  • Flexible, adaptable, able to improvise and work in stressful, volatile environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels, taking into account cultural and language difficulties.
  • Strong commitment to capacity building of SCI staff with willingness to adopt a participatory and consultative management approach.
