Deputy Financial Manager (1)

  • Duration: Full time work.

The Deputy Finance Manager will provide accounting and financial control work for the Finance Department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages and oversees accounting functions, staffing, auditing and company performance.

Responsibilities

1.    Develop financial strategies for the company.
2.    Set up the financial plans and follow up the implementation and ensuring to get the best result.
3.    Coordinating and ensuring to control the company's expenses and its branches.
4.    Supervise all the accounting process and auditing.
5.    Reporting on all the accounting and financial process and distractions.
6.    Conducting feasibility studies for expansion projects of the company.
7.    Evaluate all the financial processes and report periodically.
8.    Analyze costs, pricing, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
9.    Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
10.    Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
11.    Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
12.    Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
13.    Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
14.    Periodically analyze the operations and financial position of the company.
15.    Manage and control the related party's financial status such as restaurant, full & part time employees.
16.    Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
17.    Performs other related duties as requested by the Financial Manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent managerial skills and ability to evaluate the work of others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Yemeni applicable financial practices and procedures.
  • Proficient with accounting software and standard office and accounting equipment.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Five years of management experience in finance management.
