JOB PURPOSE

Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to the Development team. Identify, analyse, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

  • Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers.
  • Create and maintain databases of known defects.
  • Support on utilizing processes and software’s that ensure the quality, reliability, and system safety and security and utilizing methods, procedures, and metrics needed to ensure that quality standards and practices are attained.
  • Assist users in setting-up and executing user acceptance test cases.
  • Collect and collate data, conduct basic analysis including the impact of procedural changes to support the development of accurate reports
  • Perform the deduplication process and support programme colleagues throughout the adjudication process.
  • Support the configuration process for the end-point equipment for registration and distribution activities.
  • Document, set-up and administer a library of requisite test cases for applications; and report results to your superiors.
  • Conduct statical data analysis of all digitized and targeting criteria as the data changes and share with your supervisor
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable (University degree Information Technology, in statistics, mathematics or a related subject involving maths).

Experience: Four or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.

Language: Fluency (level C) in English language. Fluency (level C) in Arabic language. 

Nationality: Yemeni.

DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE

  • Proven working experience as a Data Management or Business Data Analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
  • Has solid experience with Tableau and PowerBI or any analytics tool.
