Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an International, independently funded, non-profit, humanitarian medical organization that offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural and man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. MSF is currently recruiting for the following position based in Taiz Houban:

Job Title : Obstetrician Gynecologist (Pool) - أخصائية نساء و ولادة (قائمة الاحتياط) 
Location : MSF-H, Taiz Governorate

Main purpose:

Implement gynecological and obstetrician procedures, performing any other prior treatment required, during or immediately after a woman has given birth in order to improve women’s reproductive health and to reduce pregnancy, delivery and neonatology risks. This will be done in accordance with MSF policies, protocols and universal hygiene standards and in multidisciplinary collaboration with other medical doctors and midwife services.

Accountabilities:

• Provide health care related to gynecology and obstetrics to patients, including prevention, diagnosis and treatment. 
• Ensure the implementation of MSF clinical policies, tools, guidelines and protocols related to gynecology and obstetrics in order to minimize clinical risk and to extend best reproductive practices. 
• In collaboration with other medical colleagues, carry out the collection of quantitative gynecological data and ensure exhaustive use of management tools in order to improve gynecological results and to share knowledge among other field specialists. 
• Plan and supervise the HR associated processes (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal/external communication) of the gynecological staff in order to ensure both an efficient sizing and the amount of knowledge required, to improve people’s capabilities and their active participation in influencing the targeted population using preventive practices. This will be done in close coordination with the HR department. 
• Supervise the maintenance and running of the gynecological equipment and drug consumption, prepare new orders when required and ensuring its rational use as well as that pharmacy stock levels are continuously updated and available. This will be done in cooperation with the pharmacist and logistic staff, the management.

MSF Section/Context Specific Activities:

• Experience in treatment and management of high-risk and complicated pregnant and postpartum patients is desirable.

Requirements:

Education:    

• Essential, Medical Degree BA, MBBS and Gynecology specialist diploma.

Experience:    

• Essential at least 2 year certified work experience in gynecology and obstetrics.
• Desirable previous experience with MSF or other NGO’s.

Language(s):    

• Arabic and English essential.

Knowledge:

• Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel).

الهدف الرئيسي:

تطبيق كافة الإجراءات اللازمة والمتعلقة بالنساء والولادة، تأدية متطلبات العلاج المسبقة خلال او بعد ولادة المرأة مباشرة من أجل تحسين الصحة الإنجابية وخفض المخاطر لدى المواليد اثناء الحمل والولادة بناء على سياسات "اطباء بلا حدود"   وقوانينها ومعايير التعقيم العالمية ضمن ضوابط تعاونية متعددة مع ما يقدمه الاطباء والقابلات من خدمات. 

المسؤوليات:

•    تقديم العناية الصحية المتعلقة بمرضى النساء والولادة، بما فيها الوقاية والفحص والعلاج.
•    ضمان تطبيق سياسات، وادوات، وقوانين منظمة "اطباء بلا حدود" بما فيها الادلة المتعلقة بالنساء والولادة من اجل خفض المخاطر السريرية ونشر أفضل الممارسات الإنجابية.
•    تنفيذ مجموعة من البيانات الكمية المتعلقة بطب النساء بالتعاون مع زملاء العمل وضمان الاستخدام التفصيلي   لإدارة الوسائل من اجل تحسين النتائج وتبادل المعارف مع بقية الأخصائيين في نفس المجال.  
•    التخطيط والإشراف للإجراءات المتعلقة بالموارد البشرية (التوظيف، التدريب، تقييم العمل، تحسين التواصل الداخلي والخارجي) مع طاقم اختصاصي النساء والولادة من اجل ضمان القياس الفعال وكمية المعلومات المطلوبة لتطوير قدرات العاملين واسهامهم الفعال بالتأثير على الفئات المستهدفة واستخدام الممارسات الوقائية.
•    الإشراف على صيانة وتفعيل الادوات المناسبة واستهلاك الادوية وتحضير الطلبات الجديدة بحسب الحاجة وتامين الاستخدام المنطقي للأدوية وايضا مستويات مخزون
•     الصيدلية المتجدد والمتوفر بشكل دائم. وسيتم ذلك بالتعاون مع الادارة ومسئولي الامدادات والصيدلية.
قسم أطباء بلا حدود / أنشطة محددة السياق:
•    خبرة في علاج وإدارة حالات المرضى عالية الخطورة وحالات الحمل وما بعد الولادة المعقدة مرغوب فيه.

المتطلبات والمؤهلات :

 المؤهل :

•    طب عام وجراحة (بكالوريوس) شهادة اختصاص نساء وولادة أساسي.  

 الخبرة: 

•    خبرة عمل لا تقل عن سنتين في مجال الاختصاص.
•    يفضل خبرة سابقة مع منظمة "اطباء بلا حدود" او اي منظمات اخرى غير حكومية.

اللغة 
•    اللغة العربية و اللغة الإنجليزية أساسية.

المعرفة        
•    اساسيات الكمبيوتر ( وورد و اكسل)
