Waleed Alharazi and Partner- Geneva Group International Member (GGI) is looking to recruit professional candidates for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Manager. 

Position summary:

We are seeking for a MEAL manager to join our team working on monitoring, evaluation and learning. The manager should have a demonstrated experience in application of social and environmental research methods and/or impact evaluation.
The preferred candidate should be highly professional, ambitious and keen to develop market, and technical competencies within our firm’s business environment. Our firm has an inclusive management style, where staff are encouraged to take responsibility for aspects of business development.

Reports to: TPM Project Manager.
Duty Station: Sana’a - GGI Office.
Position Type: Full Time.
Duration: Fixed-term Employment for one Years renewable on a yearly basis.

Essential Qualifications, Experiences and Skills:

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as economics, statistics, international development or environmental appraisal.
• Proven skills in program and project planning, monitoring and evaluation and sophisticated report writing.
• Flexible, adaptable, dynamic and culturally sensitive.
• Willingness to travel and work on assignments at different governorates.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• TOEFL or similar certification is a plus.
• (3 to 5) years’ experience in TPM project management, and reporting of humanitarian and/or development projects for an international organization or NGO.
• Experience in application of statistical software (e.g., SPSS) or similar program / software’s.
• Familiarity and practical experience working on policy and methodological issues related to M&E in areas related to Humanitarian responses (Health, Nutrition, WASH, Protection, Shelters/NFIs…etc.).
• Proven skills in complex problem analysis, program and project planning, and sophisticated report writing.
• Proven success in line management/team leader management of technical staff.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• five years of relevant professional experience in consulting and/or research experience in the monitoring and evaluation – application of different evaluation approaches: theory-based evaluation, experimental, mixed methods, including both qualitative and quantitative data collection.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Manage existing and future project/program evaluations and evaluation teams.
• Writing proposal and tracking opportunities, Budgeting of activities and estimate project’s costs.
• Designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems.
• Client and stakeholder management.
• Field Monitoring Survey design / review of consultants surveys in specific field.
• Sampling and methodology selection.
• Maintaining up-to-date databases of Multi Sector data.
• Planning, organizing, implementing & monitoring field visit operations.
• Management and capacity building of the M&E team.
• Information Management including cleaning, visualization and analysis.
• Generating Periodic and on-demand Maps, Infographics, Charts and Reports.
• Building and integrating Online and Interactive Dashboards.
• Planning, Management and Reporting Safety and Security.
• Writing TPM, Evaluation and Assessments’ reports.
• Providing clients and stakeholders with periodic, on demand, or conditional data analysis and reports concerning activities.
• Present reports and discuss them with clients.
• Ensure to liaise with governments authorities to obtain all projects related permits for project’s personnel, movements, activities…etc.
• Participate in cluster and sub cluster meetings.
• Comply with all related projects requirements / TORs
