The ICRC is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of:

Health Administrative Assistant

Contract type: Open-ended 
Number of Posts: 1 Post
Grade: B1
Duty Station: Hodeidah 

PURPOSE

Administrative Assistant provides secretarial and/or administrative support to the health department the sub-delegation in Hodeidah and the delegation in Sana’a.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:
-    Carries out a full range of administrative and secretarial support to the Health department of the sub-delegation.
-    Supports the health department with financial and narrative reporting.
-    Establishes and maintains tools, incl. logbooks and databases to provide the Health department with timely information.
-    Independently creates, maintains and updates paper or electronic files. 
-    Independently updates and retrieves data into and from specialized tools and databases. 
-    Follows up on all work-related messages and correspondence with the relevant external stakeholders and ICRC departments.
-    Ensures a fluid communication internally and externally at the ICRC-supported health facility levels and ICRC sub-delegation and delegation.
-    Channels all relevant information related to the health department and facilitates mutual exchange of information between the departments in the sub-delegation.
-    Carries out basic financial tasks following ICRC procedures.
-    Participates in and writes minutes of departmental meetings at sub-delegation level.
-    Applies information-management instructions and ensures compliance with procedures.
-    S/he can be asked to accompany the team to the field.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
-    High school diploma or equivalent training.
-    Excellent command of English 
-    Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and IBM Lotus Notes.
-    Capable of translating financial and other related documents.
