A leading commercial company based in Aden is looking for a candidate for IT Manager post

• Position: IT Manager
• Location: Aden,
• Contract type: Full time contract.
• Contract duration: 12 months (3 months’ probationary period)
• Reporting to: IT Director
• Announcement Closing Date:  One month from Advertising date

Responsibilities :-

• Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees,
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access, systems, antivirus,  backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT         

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience working in IT operations
• Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• Windows, UNIX, Linux systems professional expert engineer
• Experience in Configuring DNS, DHCP, FTP and ISA, IIS, exchange Server
• Experience various IT application e.g. ERP, etc..
• Experience on virtual HW/SW platform VMware and cloud systems
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA/CCNP) certificate is preferable.
• Managing/supporting Cisco network infrastructure Strong understanding of network design, installing, configuring, integration, testing and administrating,  troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers and firewalls infrastructure
• Our ideal candidate will be someone who can manage systems infrastructure, which include technical support, security, systems and network management. She/he will also be responsible for systems design, configuration, integration, testing, installation, and administration of IT network infrastructure.
• Preferred  IT back ground experience in GSM Mobile Telecom networks
• Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and administrating Windows Server Families, HP and unix systems
• Solid experience in routing and network management protocols, VPN site to site.
