Main purpose

Performing autonomously, specific complex / advanced installation, maintenance works and repairs depending on technician’s specialization (requiring special/qualifications/training), according to supervisor’s instructions and MSF standards and procedures, in order to ensure a proper functioning and maintenance of MSF equipment, installations and infrastructures.

Accountabilities

• Performing autonomously, all necessary complex / advanced installations, maintenance and repairs (i.e. requiring special qualifications/training), according to the supervisor’s instructions and executes any needed tests after any repair or maintenance. Including the following functions:
  •         Qualified Electrician
  •         Qualified Mechanic
  •         Biomed Technician
• Making suggestions regarding any repair or maintenance work needed in MSF electrical installations, equipment and/or vehicles and assisting logistics department for any relative work needed.
• Managing the stock of consumable items, filling in the stock cards, carrying out physical stock inventories, executing orders necessary for renewing stock, avoiding any shortage.
• Responsible for the equipment and tools, including extinguishers, checking they are correctly and safely used, maintaining and renewing them when necessary and keeping the inventory updated.
• Keeping working area clean and tidy.
• Ensuring that all record sheets and books related to logistical maintenance are always completed. Preparing needed reports before and after any repair or required maintenance.
• Immediately informing the line manager of any problems that arise in the course of the work, particularly with regard to damage, loss, theft or attempted break-ins
• Working in collaboration with other specialised technicians and workers, if necessary, or managing a small team of workers.
• Staff are not allowed to chew QAT during working hours.
• Under no circumstances are firearms/weapons allowed in MSF vehicles or on MSF premises.
• The above-mentioned activities and responsibilities are not exhaustive, and staff may be assigned additional responsibilities or tasks as required.

Context-Specific Accountabilities

• Good knowledge of Marib local market required
• This position will focus mainly on repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment and electrical installations, with automotive mechanics as a secondary responsibility.

Requirements

Education

• Essential diploma or recognized formal training in Biomedical or Electrical discipline

Experience

- Demonstrated experience in his/her technical area (minimum 2 years’ experience)

- Essential at least two years previous working experience. Desirable in MSF or other NGOs

Languages

- Arabic Essential, English Desirable

المهام الرئيسية

أداء أعمال الصيانة والإصلاحات بشكل مستقل ومعقد / متقدم ، اعتمادًا على تخصص الفني (تتطلب مؤهلات / تدريبًا خاصًا) ، وفقًا لتعليمات المشرف ومعايير وإجراءات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود ، من أجل ضمان التشغيل السليم وصيانة معدات أطباء بلا حدود والمنشآت والبنى التحتية.

المسؤوليات :

- إجراء جميع عمليات التركيب والصيانة والإصلاحات المعقدة / المتقدمة بشكل مستقل (أي تتطلب مؤهلات / تدريبًا خاصًا) ، وفقًا لتعليمات المشرف وتنفيذ أي اختبارات مطلوبة بعد أي إصلاح أو صيانة. بما في ذلك الوظائف التالية:

-  إدارة مخزون المواد الاستهلاكية وملء بطاقات المخزون وإجراء عمليات جرد مادي للمخزون وتنفيذ الأوامر اللازمة لتجديد المخزون وتجنب أي نقص

-  مسؤول عن المعدات والأدوات، بما في ذلك طفايات الحريق، والتحقق من استخدامها بشكل صحيح وآمن، وصيانتها وتجديدها عند الضرورة والحفاظ على تحديث المخزون

-  الحفاظ على منطقة العمل نظيفة ومرتبة.

-  التأكد من استكمال جميع أوراق السجلات والكتب المتعلقة بالصيانة اللوجستية دائمًا. إعداد التقارير اللازمة قبل وبعد أي إصلاح أو صيانة مطلوبة.

-  إبلاغ المدير المباشر على الفور بأي مشاكل تنشأ أثناء العمل، خاصة فيما يتعلق بالتلف أو الضياع أو السرقة أو محاولة الاقتحام

- العمل بالتعاون مع فنيين وعمال متخصصين آخرين، إذا لزم الأمر ، أو إدارة فريق صغير من العمال.

المتطلبات والمؤهلات :

المؤهل العلمي

- مطلوب دبلوم أو تدريب رسمي معترف به في المعرفة بالأجهزة الطبية والكهربائية.

الخبرة

-  خبرة مثبتة في مجاله التقني (خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين)

-  مطلوب خبرة عمل لا تقل عن سنتين. خبرة مرغوب فيها في منظمة أطباء بلا حدود أو المنظمات غير الحكومية الأخرى

اللغة

- اللغة العربية ضرورية، اللغة الإنجليزية مرغوبة
