Business Management Trainer

Report to: GBV reporter officer 
Duration :10 Months 
Duty Station : Taiz ( Almudhafar)

JOB PURPOSE:

The Organization is planning to assist the vulnerable population with their livelihood and economic recovery and toward long terms sustainability. To achieve this, working for recovery, and growth of enterprises, asset recovery, business group, savings and loans group are the main activities Organization is currently doing through provision of financial support, and business management skills trainings.

1. TOR Purpose

The training will be conducting in Taiz ( Almudhafar )districts.
The overall goal of this assignment is to build the capacity of vulnerable households in business management and planning, who will be supported by Organization with business grants on business restoration, business start-up, and business scale up and management skills to enable them utilized the grant effectively in rebuilding their livelihoods. 

4. General conditions and requirements 

1-  OBJECTIVE & SCOPE OF THE ASSESSMENT To deliver a financial and business management skills training for identified people by Organization from Almudhafar, in a way that is relevant and understandable to the target audience to improve business performances.

Output: 

  • 500 Participants trained and obtained knowledge on how to maintain their businesses and keep the profit accordingly in the recovery stage.
  • Training Reports with clear recommendation on follow up areas and action to be taken by Organization and business owners respectively
  • Copy of training material in Arabic covering all dimensions of financial literacy and business management skills.

2-    METHODOLOGY
Theoretical explanation on business management and record keeping; Assessing business performances, various business records formats; Sales records, credit and debits records, calculating profits or Losses, how to maintain and re-establish your business afterward the crisis., business promotion and advertising, and business forecasting methods.

  • Use of Pictures, graphics in presenting information is recommended for better understanding of the topics throughout the training session.
  • Provide the handouts of the material for the participants during the training session.
  • Provide soft copy of the material for Organization staff in Arabic version and English (if available), for the revision.
  • Pre-test and post evaluation will be done during the training session.

 Qualifications & Preferred Skills 

A reputed individuals with proven experience in providing technical training. Some of the key requirements are, the major criteria to evaluate the institutes/individuals competing for the assignment will include the following;

  • Good reputation in delivering business management trainings,
  • Experienced trainers holding certifications as trainers,
  • Presence in the area of operations or willing to move easily to area of operation for the period of assignment.
  • History or general experience of the Vocational training in the field of the assignment
  • Over 3 years of delivering similar assignment/ consultancies
  • Education background, bachelor degree in business management.
  • Methodology to be used to execute the training
  • Willing to work with multi-cultural context
  • Good command of English and Arabic
  • Must fulfill all requirements of the TOR
  • Must provide a CV stating education, qualifications, and experience.
  • Must provide copies of any diplomas/transcripts, certifications.
  • Selection will be made based on the interview.
  • Must have TOT.
  • Graduated people from management and economy college are Preferred.
  • The contract period will be 10 months.
