As a result, the organization has established itself among the most effective civil society organizations in Yemen that are working on issues related to health, education, and WASH in support of women, children, and youth. Operating out of its Headquarters in Sana’a and its offices in Taiz and Aden, SOUL, provides critical educational, health, and WASH services to urban and rural communities. 

Job Information
Job Title: TSFP Coordinator (1). TSFP and BSFP Coordinator (1).
Location: Taiz ( Alshamayteen &AlMafer (1) & Mocha (1)).
Contract Type: Full Time.
Contract Duration: 10 Months.
Start Date: As soon as possible.

Job Description

The TSFP and BSFP Coordinator is responsible for the day to day management and smooth running of the Targeted and Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program in line with the MoPHP national CMAM protocol, SOUL protocols and the project proposal.

Key Responsibilities:

-    Coordinate with DHO, local representative’s/community members and different stakeholders in target area to facilitate project activities.
-    Ensure the proper selection of CHVs/HWs with produce an area-map of their working scope and identify the FDPs according to MOPHP guidelines
-    Prepare and submit the periodic nutrition distribution plans and awareness sessions.
-    Ensure that monthly reports are collected and compiled appropriately from all SOUL supported sites.
-    Review the monthly reports and data prepared by the CHVs/HWs.
-    Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports of the field activities, achievements, and difficulties.
-    Analyze nutrition situation and prevailing trends and provide constructive written and verbal feedback for HWs and CHVs
-    Ensuring adherence to the current MAM protocols in the supported facilities
-    Plan and coordinate community mobilization and nutrition education activities along with other INGO/NGOs working in the field.
-    Participate in the follow-up of supplies consumption and orders to avoid any nutrition interruption.
-    Carry out monthly performance evaluation and advice HWs/CHVs on ways to improve work performance.
-    Conduct supervisory visits to targeted locations along with district nutrition coordinator.
-    Assess the project progress on monthly basis.
-    work to solve the problems facing him/her in the field and raise these issues to the to the senior filed Officer.
-    Coordinate to provide the CHVs/HWs with necessary items needed for training and their work.
-    Coordinate for the trainings and mapping out training plans and schedule
-    Keep eyes and attention on the success stories within the project.
-    Assist in the development of a promotional plan for the project.
-    Properly archiving the documents and correspondence of the project for easy reference upon request
-    Commitment to implement the field activities as per the standards set-forth by SOUL.
-    Attend internal and external meetings as required and directed by the senior project officer.
-    Carry out any tasks assigned to him/her by senior project officer, project manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
•    Bachelor in Nutrition, medicine or related field is a MUST
•    Nutrition related courses (CMAM, IYCF) will be preferable.
•    At least two-year experience in BSFP/TSFP or community-based nutrition intervention
•    At least one-year experience working for INGOs/NGOs as field coordinator.
•    Excellent computer skills including the usage of Microsoft office.
•    Excellent usage of Advanced Excel.
•    Fluent in English and Arabic skills.
