Dimensions
Cook for staff and visitors and ensure all food and other items are stored properly
The Role
- Prepare and cook meals for Staff/visitors.
- Fulfill staff/visitor’s orders in a timely manner while adhering to best practices and hygiene guidelines.
- Keep the work area clean, safe and free of unsanitary items and objects; properly dispose of waste in appropriate receptacles.
- Maintain utensils such as knives in safe and appropriate working condition as well as ensure that all utensils are clean before each use.
- Ensure that food area stocked and organized; alert staff of any inventory deficiencies and keep inventory records.
- Daily and weekly ordering and shopping for food related stock.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Cook according to the diverse ways and keep improving in providing the requires and tasty food meals taking into consideration the staff’s health conditions particularly those with diet and diabetic positive.
- Any other required tasks that might be need and relevant to the main tasks mentioned.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years work experience in cooking meals.
- Average level of speaking and communicating in English.
- Commitment to Oxfam values
- Preferable, if have a degree in cooking or some in job coaching trainings in cooking different meals.
