Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.

Working under the overall supervision of the Head of Procurement & Logistics, and under the direct supervision of the Logistics Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for carrying out procurement functions in accordance with IOM’s procurement regulations, rules and procedures.

Core Functions / Responsibilities:
1)    Maintain clean office building sounding clean
2)    Maintain water availability (drinking water- daily cleaning use water)
3)    Help in movement of office furniture
4)    Assist in maintenance and repair of office facilities and assets
5)    Assist with photocopying, collating and scanning documents; send faxes; support office re-cycling initiative; and distribution of documents/ packages as required
6)    Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications and Experience

□    GCE Ordinary Level; or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training One year related experience preferably in an office environment


English and Arabic
