Position: Marketing Specialist

Reports To : General manager

1.  Purpose of Position: Overall contribution to corporate goal
To develop and oversee marketing campaigns to promote products and services. The role of a marketing executive can encompass creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities and to achieve:. 
•    Future potential customers and renters.
•    New market segments
•    Innovative and retention programs.
As agreed in accordance with the 4p’s of marketing.

2.  Accountabilities

•    To further develop the right marketing strategies for Hilti products to your defined customer base Also, enlarging the renters base in Sami Mall with a focus on their sustainability and long term connection.
•    overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
•    conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences
•    devising and presenting ideas and strategies
•    promotional activities
•    compiling and distributing financial and statistical information
•    writing and proofreading creative copy
•    maintaining websites and looking at data analytics
•    organizing events and product exhibitions
•    updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
•    coordinating internal marketing and an organization’s culture
•    monitoring performance
•    Managing campaigns on social media.
•    Reducing costs as much as possible when preforming processes.

3.  Dimensions of Position:

    Marketing Revenue YR: As per current year approved OYP

    Operating Budget: As per current year approved OYP       

4.  Competencies required for position– Red Thread Profile
Functional Expertise :  

•    Strong marketing skills competence (SMS).
•    A degree in marketing and a minimum two years’ experience.
•    Good English skills
•    Technical skills e.g. product and market knowledge.
•    Can sell the Hilti value proposition and promote Hilti Differentiation.
Understanding the business :    
•    Understands the business reasons behind our strategy and link it to daily work.
•    Understands how to work closely with the sales team to reach the ultimate customer satisfaction.
•    Uses Hilti resources wisely and efficiently to understand the customers wants and needs.
•    Uses Sami Mall resources wisely and efficiently to understand the customers wants and needs
•    Understands the wider business environment beyond his territory and region – is familiar with the different organisational functions and the interdependencies.
Understanding and defining what needs to be done :   
•    Using focus groups, a market research technique in which you collectively interview a small group of people who represent your target audience. 
•     Applying social media listening technique where you track and analyse what is being said about your company or industry on social channels.
•    Understand new products and their applications and quickly promote them to the market.
•    Able to develop plans to further penetrate e.g. key accounts / job sites.  Anticipates barriers and plans alternatives.

•    Effective time & territory management.
•    Stays the course to achieve objectives, (e.g. high potential prospects, promotion of new products, key customers)
•    Achieve superior results on time.
Working with others :  
•    Understands other team concept, and deploys the resources effectively.
