HR Officer
Contract type: Open Ended

Duty Station: Sa’ada

Purpose
HR Officer is responsible for staff administration within Sa’ada sub-delegation. S/he provides HR services in line with the ICRC’s and the delegation’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Contributes to drafting local staff policies/HR tools (including salary, promotion, staff files and medical files), and implements them.
- Ensures that staff-management policies are applied correctly.
- Ensures that new employees are welcomed and well-integrated.
- Carries out administrative follow-up on HR-related issues (conflict management, training, etc.).
- Supervise local recruitment and training.
- Acts as a focal point for general HR-management issues.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with local labour laws and staff regulations.
- Supports the HR projects and initiatives in the field.
- When applicable, supports line managers in their managerial responsibilities.
Certifications/Education Required
- Professional diploma and/or vocational training in HR.
- Good command (written and spoken) of English.
- Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Professional Experience Required
- 4–-5 years’ experience in HR or a similar field.
