It has presence in 14 Governorates in Yemen responding to all areas of humanitarian sectors. ADRA Yemen is undertaking programs in Yemen in the fields of health, child protection, education, women's protection and empowerment, NFI and food distribution, cash assistance, and livelihoods programming. Our work in these challenging settings gives rise to some of the most pressing issues facing contemporary humanitarian action, including questions of access, security, funding and coordination.


The pediatric and Neonatologist will be concern about providing health services for all neonates and infants delivered or accessing to the health facility for getting Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (CEmONC) service. Also he/ she should concern about incubator departments.


The “Pediatrician\ Neonatologist will be responsible but not limited to:

  • to provide medical health care for Babies delivered in the health facility  and  doing follow up for them if there are any medical problem  
  • to act as pediatric specialist in outpatient clinic .   
  • Provide basic health care (examination and basic treatment) to pediatric patients attending the Clinic and delivery section babies (either Normal or caesarian) .
  • Provide pre-term babies health care and treatments and follow them if incubator admission needed. 
  • Have a good understanding of ADRA policies and procedures and apply to daily work
  • Keep accurate records of individual cases including name, age, diagnosis, recommendations and follow-up action required
  • Submit individual case records to the Field Officer on a weekly basis
  • Establish strategic relationships with beneficiaries, their leaders and spokespeople


  • Master degree in pediatric
  • Arabic board will be preferred
  • At least 2 years .experience in this aspect
  • Working in big hospital including incubator department preferred.
  • Work in rural area will be preferred.
  • Female candidate will be preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solving skills.
