Title of job: Senior Frontend developer

We are looking for a qualified Front-end developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Professional experience with VueJS or another modern JavaScript web framework (Angular, React, Ember, etc.)
• Highly proficient with VueJS framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
• Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
• Proven experience of performing all technical aspects of a front end build
• Highly proficient in building websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• A high level of SEO experience, specifically onsite optimisation, but also a full and broad knowledge of effective SEO strategies and techniques
• Proven experience of building responsive websites (please provide examples)
• Knowledge of writing extended CSS coding languages such as LESS/CSS or SASS
• Expert integrating with API endpoints
• Expert at writing performant, scalable and reusable UI components
• Expert with version control systems (namely Git)
• Expert knowledge and application of front-end performance optimisation techniques
• Expert at planning and estimating front-end development work accurately
• Proficient at implementing SEO standards; including url structure, redirects, sitemaps, semantic markup, structured data, metadata etc
• Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Design mobile-based features
• A strong sense of UI/UX design and layout.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Familiarity with software like Figma, Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years professional experience as a frontend developer
• Produce clean and efficient code following best coding practices
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with unit testing tools, such as Jest or Mocha
• Experience with state Management in VueJS like: Vuex, Pinia
