Organizational Context and Scope:
Under the overall coordination of the CBI operations officer and direct supervision of the Program Assistant (Data Management), the project Assistant will directly support and provide technical assistance to Yemen RRM-CBI program unit.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Assist the CBI unit with the ongoing RRM and CBI activities in multiple offices under the overall supervision of CBI data management assistant
- Modifying databases and maintain constant attention to ensure that they operate reliably
- Assist with regular data cleaning and data storage to maintain overall database integrity.
- Conduct data cross-checking and be responsible for prepareation of CBI distribution documents across all field offices.
- Act as RRM-CBI Focal point for CFM complaints and be responsible for communication to fulfilanswer beneficiaries’ inquiries, liaising with field staff as needed.
- Act as focal point forSupport data cross-checking with other IOM units, including but not limited to the CCCM unit and CCCM partners to facilitate IDP verification and registration under RRM.
- Adhere to IOM’s data privacy and security principles according to IOM guidelines.
- Be willing to travel to IOM field offices as needed.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor and management.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- High school diploma (with three years’ experience) or Bachelor’s degree (with one years’ experience
Experience
- Working Experience in the humanitarian sector and understanding of Yemen context
- At least one years’ experience in information management, data analysis or equivalent field.
- Experience with cleaning, collecting, and archiving confidential data
- Strong computer application and advanced Microsoft office, KOBO collect, SAP and other forms of technology for service delivery.
- Experience in reporting systems, project data and statistics.
- Knowledge of the UN system is an advantage
