Médecins Sans Frontières is looking for Yemeni nationals to recruit for the following position:

DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

• Location: Mocha 
• Contract duration: Six months 
• Contract type: Full time contract
• Reporting to: PMR assistant

Main Purpose:

Carry out all activities related to entry of medical data into the mission database, according to MSF protocols and maintaining confidentiality, in order to have reliable and up to date information.

Key of responsibilities:

• Enter medical data (e.g. patient data, dates of visit, content of prescription, viral load, etc.) in mission’s database on a regular basis and according to MSF protocols. 
• Participate in compilation of data both from MSF structures and from collaborating health facilities. 
• Participate in the search for missing data. 
• Update files of existing patients and make any corrections needed. 
• Make regular back-ups of all data processed. 
• Look after all equipment provided and keep recording area clean and tidy, giving special importance to all patient files. 
• Report any issue concerning data management to superior 
• Elaborate statistical reports when required by the medical team. 
• Ensure, promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered. 

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

• communicating regularly with the Healtcare workers, assisting in the (re)training when necessary, on proper registration of patients, proper filling of the various forms, clarifying queries, obtaining missing information and correcting errors
• translation of medical data and statistic reports from english to arabic and viceversa might be requested
• the position requires to work both in male and female areas
• while treating data from collaborating healthcare structure, might be required to phisically displace in the different locations 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ IT, Masters is desirable.        

Experience/ Knowledge: Previous experience in the same field is an asset.

Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential.
