Job Description

We are a leading company working in healthcare products trading based in Sana’a and covering all cities of Yemen, we are looking for an experienced engineer or a talented high skilled engineer who would be able to handle the service and sales of high technology medical equipment including diagnostic imagining systems and other medical equipment like OT, ICU, ST, ER, ST& other hospital medical equipment.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Responsible to perform customer’s support activities including “installation, servicing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of medical equipment in accordance with directions and safety measures of manufacturer’s documents.
  • Maintain highest level of customer’s satisfaction, one-time and effective response to complete service activities with minimum downtime and best customer services standards.
  • Active and timely communication with higher level technical support whenever required.
  • Managing, organizing, follow up and implementation of preventive maintenance visits on time based on manufacturer’s recommendation and or service contracts.
  • Providing user training to customers for prober and safe operation of medical equipment.
  • Documentation and service reports after any performed service activities.
  • Management, serializing, labeling, creating information cards and keep updated database for each installed equipment.
  • Work follow up with customers to bring new service contracts.
  • Conduct timely training sessions on medical equipment and improve personal technical& sales skills by self-education through learning from manufacturer’s documents to maintain a rich knowledge and understanding about specification, principle of operation, service procedures, application and safety precautions of medical equipment.
  • Support sales& marketing team: help to provide the key information about product that helps the team to demonstrate the product features for any new lead customer.
  • Participate in presentations/pre-sales meetings with lead customers whenever required.
  • Maintain and build effective relationships with key and target accounts, healthcare industry leaders and industry associations.
  • Support sales/tenders’ team in verifying the compliance of products to tender’s requirements.

Minimum qualification and skills requirement:

  • University Qualifications: BSc in Biomedical engineering
  • Experience: >3 years in field, or 1-3 years for talented high skilled engineers.
  • Strong problem diagnosis, problem solving skills, research and learning agility.
  • Soft Skills and Personality traits: Excellent computer/software skills, Leadership ability, good negotiator, excellent communication skills and Sales skills.
  • Language Fluency: Excellent communicator with a good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Able to think clearly, independently and exercise own judgment.
  • Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively.
  • Willingness for short travels within Yemen governates and abroad
