About FMF:

The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Support media Teams to Managing, planning and implementing social media strategies and scheduling and publishing content.
  • Editing the content to suit each platform and target audience and suit it to improve visibility in the SEO search engines.
  • Contribute to the preparation and construction of high-quality textual and visual content with creative ideas and continuous renewal.
  • Preparing marketing, promotional and advertising campaigns on electronic platforms, managing them efficiently and positively interacting with the public.
  • Creating and renewing interactive discourse methods with the public in accordance with media policies and keeping pace with the changes and development of electronic social platforms.
  • Follow up on everything published about the FMF in internet, analyze data and performance indicators for its platforms, track others UN agency, NGO, and LNGO platforms and benefit positively.
  • Follow-up, coordination and cooperation with other departments, sections, and units for the success and preparation of content and management and development of platforms.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to him/her in the field of the job specialization.

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, media, multimedia, journalism, or any related field.
  • Excellent writing skills in Arabic and English
  • Manages audience engagement and generates leads.
  • Schedules posts regularly on all the company's social media platforms
  • Creates content that focuses on increasing audience engagement.
  • Basic knowledge in graphic design and AV editing  
  • Prior experience in social media management
  • Basic knowledge of designing on Canva, Crello etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple social media accounts
  • Basic knowledge of all social media management tools.
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Self-driven and committed.
