Job brief:

We are looking for Swift developers responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed towards iOS and OS X, including mobile phones, tablets, and full-fledged computers. Your primary focus will be the development of such applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced, scalable, native applications written in Swift.
• Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases and translate them into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.
• Integrate with our backend services to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience that is super-fast for end users.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Own end-to-end product modules and features from requirements to going live.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Run tests to ensure the app's functionality is proper.
• Connect the application to back-end tools like the cloud, APIs, and push notifications.
• In charge of creating prototypes and idea proofs.
• Use encryption techniques to protect content.
• Unit-test code is a plus.
• Any other technical task related to the job.

The minimum requirement for this job details as follow;

Requirements & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a Swift Developer.
• A collection of previous applications (provide links to app in app store).
• Proficient in Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• You care about quality, and you know what it means to ship high-quality code.
• Solid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, most used design patterns.
• Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics.
• Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading.
• Good Understanding of clean architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine.
• Strong knowledge of payment methods. 
• Experience with embedded databases and other system datastores.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services.
• Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus.
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus.
• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}}.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related.

• Arabic language is a must.
