Background Information:

Al-Qutaibi Islamic Bank For Microfinance was established under the license of the Central Bank of Yemen No. (CBY 2021/455). The bank aims to provide financial and banking services in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia to contribute to the development of the national economy as much as it is available.

We are looking for a highly skilled data center specialist to ensure that our data servers and network perform optimally. In this role, your duties will include installing and upgrading system components, as well as providing network support. You will also be required to perform maintenance and repairs on servers and network equipment.

To ensure success as a data center specialist, you should exhibit extensive experience in ensuring optimal efficiency of data center infrastructure. Top-notch data center specialist take proactive measures to prevent loss of data and damage to networks.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Systems Administration-related tasks for various Windows server environments supporting applications critical to the customer’s mission.
• Work closely with Systems, Network, Service Delivery, Security Operations, and Applications teams to ensure the success of business objectives.
• Performance monitoring of all resources running in the BANK environments.
• Document and mitigate Backup and Disaster Recovery operations for all division systems running in the BANK Environments.
• Install firmware and other updates to systems devices or equipment.
• Diagnose and fix hardware and software errors, including but not limited to Active Directory, Exchange, DNS/DHCP, Storage, Citrix, Azure, Office 365, etc.
• Ensure smooth operations of production systems and perform regular maintenance and administration to minimize and reduce the risk of systems down time.
• Deployment of VoIP, Firewall, Proxy, and Gateway Virtual Appliances.
• working knowledge of Citrix XenApp Server Development & Environment management.

Required education and skills

a. Education

• A bachelor’s degree in Information systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Certificates related to networking and servers security.

b. Professional Experience:

5+ years of depth experience in the following fields:

• Systems administration
• OS experience - Windows X, Windows Server 20XX, RHEL/OEL X.
• Active Directory, Exchange, DNS/DHCP, Storage, Citrix, Azure, Office 365, WSUS, SMS, & SCCM, etc.
• Hyper-converged infrastructure (nutanix)
• Advance VMWare Administration
• supporting various vSphere components (vCenter, ESXi, VUM, VUMDS, etc...)
• server virtualization technologies and SAN/storage concepts (LUNs, HBAs, logical volumes, NFS, iSCSI, etc.)
• server chassis technologies (Dell, HP).
• Security hardening experience
• SQL Server environment including Clustering.
• Disaster Recovery.
• Working knowledge of OS security best practices and configuring/managing/updating large groups of servers.

c. Skills and abilities

• Knowledge of trends, issues, and accepted practices relevant to the position Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
