Solidarités International seeks to recruit:
HR OFFICER (Replacement during Maternity Leaves)
Location of position: Al-Turba
I. Presentation of organization
Solidarités International (SI) is a French humanitarian organization, which has been committed to provide aid in the event of conflicts and natural disasters. SI’s mission is to provide aid as quickly and as efficiently as possible to endangered populations by meeting their vital needs: drinking water, food and shelter.
II. Responsibilities and Tasks:
Goal/Purpose:
Under Supervision of Administrative Manager, The HR officer assists Administrative Manager with all HR related tasks and procedures.
He/she supports the HR management of nationals on the base and the sub-base.
I. List of main tasks:
Participating in HR management of National Staff
• Check dates of employment contracts and inform the administrator assistant when they are due to expire
• Keep up to date the organization chart
• Keep individual employee files up to date
• Prepare new employment contracts
• Conduct the follow-up of annual performance reviews
• to organize the staff (nationals / expatriates) briefings
• To compile Training needs from EAP, to look for suppliers in the area
• To conduct regular assessment and collection information about cost of living and PD monitoring
Monitoring medical coverage of staff
• Verify the reimbursement of medical fees
• Making sure staff are aware of the policy
Participating in the recruitment of the national staff
• Applications screening
• Organize communication with candidate, scheduling tests, interviews
• Participating to interviews (below B2 level)
• Conducting reference checks
Archiving
• Ensure physical and contribute to digital archiving, as well as securing HR Personal files
• In charge of archiving recruitment documentation
II. ORG CHART POSITION (reporting and functional relationships)
Line Manager: Administrative Manager
Functional report(s) on base: Cook and Cleaner
III. Profile required:
• Diploma in HR, or any other related fields
• At least 1-year experience in an administrative or HR team within an NGO
• Knowledge of basic compliance standards within Human Resources
• Excellent knowledge of Pack Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Excellent English level (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Homere will be an asset
• Discrete, Autonomous, High sense of Responsibility
• Proactive, very motivated
• Ability to work under pressure
