ITB/BO/YEMSA/22/02

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees - with its Branch Office Sana'a, Republic of Yemen - has an international mandate to provide international protection and to seek solutions for the problem of refugees in Yemen. In addition, The Office assumes the lead responsibility for protection, emergency shelter and camp management for internally displaced persons in Yemen. The work of the Office is of an entirely non-political character.

The Office in Sana'a would like to establish a Frame Agreements and invites manufacturers and factories in Yemen to provide a firm offer for the supply of the following: 

-    LIFE-SUSTAINING RELIEF ITEMS (BLANKETS, SLEEPING MATS, KITCHEN SETS, BUCKETS AND JERRY CANS)

CLOSING DATE AND TIME FOR SUBMISSION: Wednesday 17 August 2022 – 16:00 hrs Yemen Time.

SUBMISSION OF BID:

Your Bid, one (1) original, shall be sealed in an outer and two (2) inner envelopes, as detailed below:

The outer envelope shall be sent by registered mail and addressed or hand-delivered as follows:

“ITB/BO/YEMSA/22/02 LIFE-SUSTAINING RELIEF ITEMS”

               SANAA, YEMEN.

The inner envelopes shall clearly separate the commercial registration documents, the technical and financial offer. The inner envelopes shall have the following titles:

1. Envelope: Technical Offer for “ITB/BO/YEMSA/22/02 LIFE-SUSTAINING RELIEF ITEMS” submitted by {Indicate the Name of the Company}

2. Envelope: Financial Offer for “ITB/BO/YEMSA/22/02 LIFE-SUSTAINING RELIEF ITEMS” submitted by {Indicate the Name of the Company}

Sample Submission: 

Samples shall be provided free of charge with no guarantee that they will be returned by UNHCR unless the vendor agrees to take them back “as‐is” and pays for their return, if applicable. UNHCR shall give no guarantee as to the condition of the samples upon completion of possible testing and the follow‐on technical evaluation process. 

The sample must contain a label of marking which can clearly identify the Bidder Name and the tender reference number ITB/BO/YEMSA/22/02.
