The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees - with its Branch Office Sana'a, Republic of Yemen - has an international mandate to provide international protection and to seek solutions for the problem of refugees in Yemen. In addition, The Office assumes the lead responsibility for protection, emergency shelter and camp management for internally displaced persons in Yemen. The work of the Office is of an entirely non-political character.

The Office in Sana'a would like to establish a Frame Agreements and invites qualified companies to provide a firm offer for the supply of the following: 

FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FRAME AGREEMENT FOR THE SUPPLY OF POLYURETHANE FOAM MATTRESSES

CLOSING DATE AND TIME FOR SUBMISSION: Sunday, 11th of December 2022 – @ the following time

  • At 16:00 PM (Yemen time) For Sample submissions @ UNHCR Office in Sana’a
  • At 23:59 PM (Yemen time) For Technical & Financial Offers submissions in the e-tender box

PRE-BID MEETING

UNHCR will organize a supplier pre-bid conference in UNHCR main office at Algeria street, building # 2, Yemen – Sana’a, on Wednesday 23/11/2022 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A maximum of two representatives per company is allowed. Names and contact details of the company’s representatives must be provided, at least two working days in advance, by e-mail to yemsasu@unhcr.org       

SUBMISSION OF BID:

Samples Submission:

  • The Samples should be submitted at UNHCR’s office located @ Algeria street, building # 2, Yemen – Sana’a
  • Deadline for samples submission will be on 11th of December 2022 16:00 hrs Local Time

Technical & Financial proposals Submission

  • Technical & Financial proposals are to be uploaded in separate documents, under separate links for ‘Technical’ & ‘Financial’ Offers on e-TenderBox http://etenderbox.unhcr.org 
  • Submit a copy of your bid security with the technical proposal (Bidder should submit the original bid security when required)
  • Deadline for Technical & Financial Offers submission will be on 11th of November 2022 23:59 hrs Local Time

Bids should be submitted by file and uploaded to e-TenderBox, the online bid registration tool of UNHCR. The e-TenderBox can be accessed via the following URL:

http://etenderbox.unhcr.org

In order to use e-TenderBox, registration on the website is required. This registration is exclusively for e-TenderBox and does not replace any other registration with UNHCR. 

A supplier should have only one registered email account in the system. The supplier must use only that e-TenderBox account for managing its offers to UNHCR.
