About Al Manasa Al Shababya Foundation:
Al Manassa Al Shababya is a Yemeni non-profit organization, based in Aden, leading projects that focus on digital media for social change. The foundation is operating though its digital platform Manasati30 focusing on young Yemenis in the age group of 15-35 years old in all Yemeni governorates. Manasati30 co-creates media content with youth to youth on various socio-economic topics, health, culture and good governance. Through its multiple platforms, young people have access to inclusive content, and a space to connect and share their aspirations and opinions on topics that matter to them.
Summary of the job:
Al Manassa Al Shababya is looking for a highly creative individual with artistic skills a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment for the position of Online Editor & Moderator for the WPS project. Under overall supervision of the Editor in chief, the Online Editor will be ensure the active presence of Al Manassa Al Shababya on various platforms. She/he will creatively work to grow number of followers and will constantly monitor platforms for impact and valuable stories.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and facilitate regular content including designs on Manasati30 platforms to support projects goals for social change;
- Work with the Editor in Chief and engagement strategist to develop and implement project specific content strategy;
- Create and optimize different ad formats on Facebook using Facebook Power editor with good copyrighting skills;
- Facilitate and produce content to keep different media platforms updated and maintained;
- Interact and engage with social media followers and building online communities of scale;
- Sets up pay-per-click advertising campaigns on Google Search, Google Display Partners, and Google Mobile Ads, Facebook Ads and when necessary other social media platforms;
- Develop and conduct social media campaigns, with the support from engagement coordinator from Headquarter and online marketer from local team;
- Review and edit content of contributors.
- Monitor the performance of different media platforms and gather impact stories and valuable comments to fulfil the requirements of satisfactory output and outcome indicators, working together with PMEL coordinator;
- Any other relevant duties assigned by the Editor In Chief.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Media or any relevant Humanitarian/Development field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in professional Social Media Editing.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in e-Marketing.
- Strong knowledge and Experience in Google AdWords, Facebook Power Editor and other Ads Apps.
- Previous work experience with non-profit organizations, or National & international NGOs.
- Very good command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently
