Job Title: Quality Officer
No of positions: 1 Position
Deadline: July 30 th, 2024
Duration:  1 year
Duty Station: Hajjah Gov 
Probationary Period: Three months

Taybah Foundation for Development ( TFD ):

Taybah Foundation for Development is a Yemeni Development Foundation working in the areas of health and education. It was established in 1996 under the licence of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 25.  Taybah seeks to provide quality health and education services in partnership and cooperation with all concerned and interested parties in accordance with the development plans of local authorities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Effective contribution to developing the quality standards and specifications required for various projects in accordance with the established work plans.
  • Training on the foundation’s policies, standards, and dissemination
  • Preparing and designing quality guides and models, and defining and developing specifications, standards, and indicators for various processes and outputs.
  • Establish a mechanism to measure the satisfaction of beneficiaries and the staff, prepare and develop questionnaires to measure their satisfaction with the quality of services, activities, and procedures, and document and analyze development recommendations in this field.
  • Monitoring the quality of services provided to beneficiaries to reduce mistakes that may result.
  • The ability to analyze data, follow up on performance measurement indicators for projects, and address any imbalances in time
  • Follow up on staff commitment to the foundation's administrative systems
  • Preparing documents and reports specialized in quality, presenting appropriate recommendations and solutions, displaying them, clarifying them, and saving them in their database per the approved policies and procedures.
  • Develop quality audit systems, procedures, and models, participate in developing periodic and annual audit plans, and implement quality control and auditing processes in an integrated and accurate manner.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of projects to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Audit processes and procedures to ensure quality.
  • Identify and analyze quality-related risks.
  • Develop plans to mitigate risks and ensure the quality of operational processes.
  • Training employees on quality standards and procedures, while updating periodically with the latest practices and standards in the field of quality
  • Documenting inspections and reviews and preparing detailed reports.
  • Providing periodic reports to management on the quality status of projects.
  • Carrying out any assigned by the direct supervisor within the framework of work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Medicine/Pharmacy, Health Management (Master of Community Health is preferred) or any other degree in other equivalent qualifications.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in health, nutrition and wash projects design, planning, implementing and evaluating integrated community-based health/wash programs in emergency/relief context.

Experience / Skills

  • Experience supervising, managing, and providing technical support and assistance to field-based program/project staff
  • Experience with an international or national NGO 
  • Sound knowledge and experience in primary and secondary health care services and wash.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship building skills. 
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft package skills (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Power-point)

Other

  • Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding, child safety and protection from sexual abuse and exploitation principles.
