Position: Partnership Manager

Location: Sana'a - Yemen

Administrative supervisor: Executive Director

Duration: 1 year

About REYADAH:

Al-Amal Foundation for Training and Entrepreneurship (REYADAH) is a non-profit developmental foundation, established in 2013, by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Yemen under License No.(13/14/M). Its vision is to be an inspiring model in economic empowerment, by empowering young people by investing in their skills, nurturing their entrepreneurial skills, and supporting them with business development services to enhance their productive participation in economic activities.

Summary:

The purpose of this position is to have an individual with specialized, trained to dedicate the majority of time to develop grands and partnership strategy that aligns with the organization priorities. This individual should be also involved in other monitoring tasks to ensure that the implementation of funded projects is within the donor regulations.

Key Responsibilities of Partnership Manager:

1.     Develop and implement partnership strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic priorities.

2.     Identify potential partnership opportunities that align with the organization's strategic priorities

3.     Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that are mutually beneficial and aligned with the organization's strategic priorities.

4.     Build and maintain relationships with external and internal partners, including governmental agencies, foundations, and corporations.

5.     Take a leading support role in negotiating with donors on the technical / financial aspects of the agreements and supervising the implementation of their terms.

6.     Search for funding for relevant projects of the foundation’s activities.

7.     Attending periodical meetings with donors and assisting in the representation of the foundation.

8.     Work with internal teams to ensure that partnerships are integrated into the organization's programs and initiatives.

9.     Monthly and periodical reporting as per donor agreements and upon the request of the executive director.

10.  Manage the implementation of grant-funded projects, including planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

11.  Ensure that all project activities are implemented in compliance with donor regulations, including financial management and reporting requirements.

12.  Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure that they are in line with project plans and donor regulations.

13.  Work with program staff and partners to identify and address project implementation challenges in a timely and effective manner.

14.  Prepare regular project progress reports, and ensure that they are submitted on time to donors.

15.  Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, and report regularly.

16.  Represent the organization at relevant events and conferences, and promote the organization's partnership initiatives.

17.  Develop and implement grantmaking policies, procedures, and guidelines.

18.  Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in partnership management.

19.  Review grant applications and make recommendations for grant awards.

20.  Develop and maintain a grants management database to track funding opportunities and relationships.

21.   Develop and maintain strong relationships with program staff, partners, and grantees to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

22.  Ensure compliance with all grant regulations and requirements.

23.  Support in preparing new project proposals and presenting the related recommendations, in addition reporting that to the ED.

24.  Review project documents and relevant budgets in cooperation with projects officers /projects managers.

25.  Work closely with the ED to identify potential sources of funding for programmers, support the development of proposals

26.  Supervise the analysis of research, studies, evaluations and reports to identify and document lessons, and produce analytical summaries to serve the management.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in business management or equivalent.
  • Projects Management professional certificate PMD (Preferable).

Experiences:

  • Minimum of three Years Professional Experience in Management & Leadership.
  • Minimum of Three Years Professional Experience in Project Management with an Executive / Supervisory Role and Management of Donors' Relations in an NGO or INGO.
