For our program in Yemen, we are seeking highly motivated CLEANER; the position will be based in MARIB.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES المهام الاساسية
Under the supervision of the HR Admin Assistant, the Cleaner is in charge of cleaning the premises, including the Offices and guesthouse.
TASKS DESCRIPTION: وصف المهام
CLEANING ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE ATTACHED:
- Clean the house and all rooms regularly by sweeping, mopping, brushing, cleaning of dustbins, etc
- Empty trash cans and cleans ashtrays
- To the dust under the furniture and office
- Ensure proper cleanliness of toilets
- Doing the laundry of line and expatriates office / behind the machine/folds and puts the machine in the place reserved for this purpose.
- Scrubbing floors
- Remove dust and cobwebs in every room
- thoroughly clean each bathroom, well disinfected with bleach the floors, tiles, toilet, bidet, sink.
- Clean the kitchen worktops, cupboards exterior doors, draining
- Clean tables and chairs
- Wash exterior floors (balconies)
CLEANING ONCE A MONTH MINIMUM
- To track inventory and make a list of cleaning products to be bought
- Thoroughly clean the fridge
- Clean the windows of each room
- Thoroughly clean the kitchen cupboards removing food and handing
- Clean walls
- Report to HR Admin Assistant the breakage or malfunctioning of furniture, appliances and other parts of the property
Line of management: He/she works inside the project’s HR organizational chart. (See related document).
Line manager: HR Admin Assistant
- Basic education will be an asset
- Minimum two year of experience in a similar position with Well reputed Setup/ NGOs/INGOs.
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Able to cope with stressful situations.
- Willing to stay in the areas of intervention.
- Good Knowledge of English will be an asset
- Good Knowledge of the Arabic Language
