Branch coordinator -Aden - 2024.

The Job

Location: Aden (with regular travel).

Period: 6-12 months, renewable subject to performance.
Duty Station: Life Makers Meeting Place Organization (LMMPO), Aden – Yemen.
Terms: Full Time Position (8 Eight hours per working day) with field visits to the work sites.
Classification: Multi Management.

Expected start Date: As soon as possible.

Job grade: Grade III

LMMPO is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Branch coordinator. We are a local non-governmental organization that works towards community development and empowerment in various sectors. This position will play a vital role in securing funds to support our projects and initiatives.

Purpose of Job:

The main focus of this position is to coordinate all activities of the branch, internally and externally, and to connect with local and international bodies to secure grants for community projects.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all activities of the branch internally and externally
  • Liaise with local and international NGOs to obtain grants for community projects.
  • Represent the organization in official meetings
  • Serve as a link between the head office and the branch
  • Build relationships with local authorities in Aden and in other governorates.
  • Manage operating expenses of the branch (stationery - electricity - net - rent ... etc.)
  • Supervise employees working on projects within Aden and southern governorates.
  • Provide logistical and technical support to the mangers of the projects within the branch area of coverage.
  • Monitor progress of projects in the field
  • Submit monthly reports on branch operations.
  • Manage all assets of the branch.
  • Organize monthly meetings for the staff of the branch and the projects’ teams.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the direct supervisor or the executive director within job duties.


  • University Degree in management or relevant disciplines.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in coordination a work site for a specific agency
  • At least 3 years of experience in coordinating high-level management positions.
  • At 3 - 5 years in project management, preferably experience in international NGOs and local NGOs.

  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Cultural competency: Understanding and sensitivity towards different cultures and communities.
  • Project management skills: Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects successfully.
  • Knowledge of the local community: Understanding of local issues, resources, and stakeholders.
  • Budget management skills: Ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software programs.


  • High Proficiency in English and Arabic.
