ALMUTAKAMILA (Almutakamila Yemeni Company for Electronic Financial Services) is a startup national shareholding Fin-Tech company, established under Commercial Companies Law No. (22) of 1991. Almutakamila specializes in electronic financial services. It uses a unified, comprehensive, robust, secure, and interoperable electronic payment solution that supports all features according to the best user experience, which meets the customers’ requirements and facilitates their financial transactions and daily life.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security protocols for portfolio financial transactions.
• Preparing information security policies, and ensuring their implementation.
• Monitor system security and respond to security breaches.
• Conduct regular security audits and assess vulnerabilities.
• Keep up with the latest security threats in financial technology.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as IT and compliance teams, to ensure overall platform security.
• Learn about mobile security best practices, encryption technologies, and mobile payment technologies.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery plans, incident response plans, and other security-related documents.
• Keeping abreast of legal and regulatory requirements related to financial technology and cybersecurity systems.
• Provide training to employees on application security best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Researching and recommending new security technologies and solutions to improve the security of financial systems.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and partners from the side of application security.
• Assisting in establishing and developing security policies, standards, and procedures, and ensuring their implementation.
• Participate in incident response and investigations as needed.
• Be aware of the latest security trends and threats in the financial industry and adapt security measures accordingly
• Familiar with mobile application security and secure encryption practices.
• Continue to review the security status of systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide direction and guidance to other team members on security best practices.
• Perform penetration testing and security testing to identify vulnerabilities in systems and assist in resolving problems.
• To be part of incident response teams and deal with security incidents as they occur.
• Assist in other tasks upon request. 

Qualifications for Cyber Security Specialist:

• University Degree in Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering.
• 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
• System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus.
• Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and DevOps tools is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Documenting with flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and code/script comments.
• Good communication skills.
• Energy, self-motivation, a can-do, and a collaborative approach.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of the basics of encryption and decryption of Ransomware.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and .NET
• Knowledge of the basics of reverse engineering.
• The ability to deal with database environments and understand their mechanism of action.
