In the Impact Assessment, Consultant must identify the environmental risks, as well as the mitigation measures to implement in order to prevent any and all pollution or contamination. The impact assessment should thus detail the potential negative environmental impacts of the physical works, for all their different phases (construction, operation, rehabilitation, end of life). The Consultant must consider reflected the following points while preparing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report:
The consultant should follow below table of contents in writing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for Category A activity i.e. Construction of medical waste zone including incinerator.
4.1 Location of the Project 4.2 Description of the Environment (Including Physical, Biological, Socioeconomic conditions) 4.3 Stakeholders Consultation
5.1 Organization’s Environmental Management System 5.2 Yemen Country-Level Legislation, Regulations and/or Policies 5.3 Donor Environmental Requirements 5.4 GAC’s Environmental Policy and Legal requirements, including its Environmental Integration Process 5.5 Environmental Policy Requirements from any other Donors Involved

In the class screening environmental assessments report The Consultant must consider provide the following points while preparing class-Screening environmental report:
The reporting requirement for rehabilitation/maintenance of WASH infrastructure in 5 health facilities should include writing a single report for all five health facilities (sites) considering at minimum below GAC reporting requirements:

The mitigation measures Plan for Activity A and B impacts. Mitigation measures must be detailed to describe mitigation measures used to mitigate impacts on valued components The description should include the valued components and the mitigation measures taken into account in the determination. |
