Background Information: CCT Program

The SFD’s Conditional Cash Transfers Program (CCT) in Nutrition designed to respond to the urgent needs of the poorest families affected by the ongoing conflict and stimulate demand for nutrition, maternity and child services to improve the nutritional status of malnourished children and women in targeted areas using a complementary and integrated approach which includes a promotion, protection and resilience building. Since October 2016 the CCT program was able to support 296K women and children, provided health education sessions, monthly cash transfer, short-term employment in social services in nutrition for young females and facilitated access to the nutrition services and treatment.
Social Fund for Development is looking for talented and passionate candidates with high integrity to strengthen its capacity to respond urgently to the crisis with the right skills. In this regard, SFD is seeking to recruit a qualified individual for the position of Program Administrator officer to be part of its CCT program team.
Under the overall guidance of the CCT Program and the direct supervision of the SFD Branch Manager, the Program Administrator officer is responsible for the effective and efficient performance of the following duties:

Responsibilities

1. Working closely with the program team in developing and managing the sub-projects in SFD's MIS in full compliance with SFD overall strategies and policies and the program priorities and its operation manuals.
2. Preparing all procurement and financial procedures for activities and documentation related to the program;
3. Monitoring regularly transactions posted to projects ensuring actual expenditure has been recorded against correct budget category and activity, take timely corrective actions as required;
4. Providing information inputs to financial and technical reports and take necessary actions to facilitate timely operational sub-projects closure
5. Responding to staff queries on conditions of service, duties and responsibilities, and privileges and entitlements under the SFD's rules and regulations.
6. Closely coordinate with operations and finance officers in preparing budget estimates for all project activities and reviewing it when required on a periodical basis;
7. Carry out procedures relating to all applicable activities and ensuring timely payment to the end beneficiaries e Act as the point of contact for all participants
8. Providing daily administrative and logistical support/arrangements to program team including events organization, travel request and accommodations for the staff and preparing of routine correspondence.
9. Managing inventory and keep a record of program materials, equipment and physical assets, etc.
10. Maintaining updated documentation, filling, folders and administrative data management in both hard and soft copy

Required education, skills and qualities

a. Education

  • At least Diploma degree in business or public administration, or related field.

b. Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in an administration or with similar responsibilities;
  • Experience working with an international organization will be an advantage;

c. Skills and competencies

  • •    Knowledge of administrative, budgetary, financial and human resources policies and procedures.
  • •    Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and achieving results
  • •    Good interpersonal and analytical skills and ability to work in a team;
  • •    Attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
  • •    Ability to identify issues, formulate opinions, make conclusions and recommendations.
  • •    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Adobe and Excel and social media platforms Ability to work under pressure and supervision to meet short deadlines; Knowledge of English language is an advantage.
