Estjiabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief (EFHAR):
Estijabah Foundation for Development is a Yemeni development organization working in the areas of wash, sanitation and hygiene, education, shelter and health. It was established in 2015 under the license of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 2753. Estijabah seeks to provide wash, sanitation and hygiene services, education, shelter and health services in partnership and cooperation with all concerned and interested parties in accordance with the development plans of the state. Local authorities.
Job purpose:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will be responsible for supporting all programs in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all project activities at the field level. Will use technically appropriate program oversight, evaluation, accountability, learning models, reporting and information systems to ensure that the education project is implemented in an effective manner.
Main roles and responsibilities:
- To collect data through interviews with beneficiary households and other stakeholders and ensure high quality data collection in accordance with agreed time plan, data collection strategy and end line as required
- Enter the monitoring data into the computer-based data collection system according to the schedule.
- Oversee this process in coordination with the M&E specialist , analyze and summarize data, and help ensure high quality reporting for progress, interim and final reports.
- Support an ongoing process of beneficiary verification.
- Conduct and support frequent surveys/evaluations of M&E activities
- Create and manage daily database and progress tracking system.
- Monitoring distributions and market prices in the local market according to demand.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems in the project to ensure community participation
- Establish coordination and information systems with project partners and key stakeholders, particularly those responsible for monitoring and evaluation
- Work with the M&E Specialist to track that program-based monitoring activities are carried out according to schedule
- Work in collaboration with the M&E Specialist to provide timely reports and data summaries
- Acting both professionally and personally in a way that lends credibility to the organization and does not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
- Maintain and update the program's follow-up and evaluation database, which ensures that data is entered and processed correctly and quickly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management or any other related field
- Experience: At least two years in the humanitarian field.
Experience/Skills:
- Two years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Excellent skill in (writing and speaking) in the English language
- Experience in supervising, managing and providing technical support and assistance to project staff working in the field.
- Experience with an international or national NGO
- Know the challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship building skills. Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft package (MS Word, MS Excel and Power-Point)
- Understand and adhere to the principles of protection, child safety and protection from sexual abuse and exploitation.
