Sales Executive 

Engineering Department 

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team, to build new business activities. This busy and varied role will see you being responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction. 

Main duties:

  • Generate business leads for a variety of technical products / services.
  • Visiting customer sites regularly to identify opportunities and promote technology based products and Engineering equipment.
  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs     
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships 
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities 
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve better results Liaise with the London Head Office regularly to channel the enquiries to the Buying Team
  • Creating Enquiry & sales and financial data reports 
  • Sharing gathered feedback with internal teams 
  • Administration of the purchasing department to excel in this role, previous Sales / Purchasing experience is essential
  • Utilising opportunities to build an account base long term and entertain loyal customers 
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in sales, coupled with a desire and enthusiasm to exceed monthly targets.
  • Sell products profitably and be able to achieve targets agreed with the Manager.
  • Promote and maintain excellent customer relations by personal manner, appearance, integrity and loyalty.
  • Closing new deals with value based selling approach.
  • Closing renewals and upselling customers.

The Successful Applicant 

  • A demonstrable track record of success in technical sales.
  • Focused technical person with an understanding of Engineering, and/or production Equipment, and/or Project related Equipment.
  • Prepared to travel extensively throughout Yemen on a frequent basis, visiting remote sites and operations.
  • Confident communicator with networking skills. 
  • Self motivated with an ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Good communications skills, both spoken and written English & Arabic.
  • Additional languages would be preferable.
  • Degree in Engineering / Technology with additional qualifications in Sales.
