Tender Details

Introduction:

UNICEF Yemen is pleased to announce a tender invitation aimed at establishing a Long-Term Arrangement (LTA) for the supply of indoor cleaning kits and cleaning materials. This tender seeks to secure the provision of these vital supplies over a period of 2 years, with the potential for extension for an additional 2 years (2+1+1 years), contingent upon satisfactory performance and program requirements.

Important Information:

Special Notes:

  1. Eligibility: This tender is open exclusively to local suppliers registered in Yemen.
  2. Product Authenticity: All goods provided must be authentic and genuine. The supply of counterfeit, imitation, or non-genuine goods will lead to rejection and possible remedies sought by UNICEF.
  3. Commercial Offers:
    • Cleaning kit offers should include costs for supplies, handling fees, and packing. Transportation costs should be provided separately for each district in Yemen as per annex D.
    • Offers for cleaning materials should be divided into two parts: one for item costs excluding transportation and another including transportation costs to specific cities (Sana'a, Aden, Hodaida, Ibb, and Sa'ada).
  4. Vendor Experience: Bidders must have at least 3 years of experience in the cleaning materials supply field, with evidence of successfully completed and delivered contracts. Experience with UN agencies and NGOs is an asset. A site visit will be conducted for qualified vendors.
  5. Financial Documentation: Bidders must provide audited financial statements for the last 2 years.
  6. Submission Requirements: Suppliers are required to fill out and submit Annexes B and C with the necessary information, along with Annex D for transportation costs to the listed destinations. Deliveries will be to various locations within each district.
  7. Bid Form: The completed and signed Bid Form, along with the quotation form (completed, signed, and accompanied by a soft excel sheet), must be submitted. The Bid Form must be signed by an authorized representative of the Organization/Company.
  8. Licensing: A valid trade license under the Hygiene/cleaning category is mandatory. Zakat and tax ID/clearance documents must be submitted with the tender documents.
  9. Bid Conference: A bid conference will be held virtually on 13 February 2024 at 9:00 AM. Details for the conference link can be found on page 7 of the tender form.

We invite all eligible and interested local suppliers to participate in this tender, contributing to the crucial work of UNICEF in Yemen.
