Achieving food security for all is at the heart of FAO’s efforts to ensure people have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active and healthy lives. FAO’s mandate is to raise levels of nutrition, improve agricultural productivity, better the lives of rural populations, and contribute to the growth of the world economy. 

FAO’s work in Yemen aims to achieve food security and livelihoods response to address immediate needs to ensure effective and rapid response to regain or sustain household food security quickly and to contribute to agriculture sector recovery and rehabilitation.

This is to lay the foundations for sustainable agriculture sector rehabilitation and long-term development planning.

FAO is inviting tenders for the Procurement of:

1.    Construction of Water Harvesting Infrastructure in Al-Mahweet & Hodeidah
2.    Procurement of Agro – Processing Tolls

The offers should include the following documents: A valid commercial license, Tax card, and social security card.

All participants should provide proof of work relevancy. FAO is not bound to accept any application or give reasons for rejection or acceptance.

إن تحقيق الأمن الغذائي للجميع هو عنصر محوري في جهود المنظمة بغية تمكين بني البشر من الحصول دائماً على ما يكفيهم من الأغذية الجيدة، والتمتع بحياة يملؤها النشاط والصحة. تتضمن مهام المنظمة رفع مستويات التغذية وتحسين الإنتاجية الزراعية، وتحسين الأوضاع المعيشية لسكان المناطق الريفية والإسهام في نمو الاقتصاد العالمي. كما تهدف منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة في اليمن إلى تحقيق الأمن الغذائي والاستجابة لتوفير سبل العيش من أجل معالجة الاحتياجات الفورية، وضمان استجابة فعالة وسريعة لاستعادة وإدامة الأمن الغذائي للأسرة بشكل سريع، والمساهمة في إنعاش القطاع الزراعي وإعادة التأهيل. كما تسعى المنظمة من خلال انشطتها إلى وضع الأسس لإعادة التأهيل لقطاع الزراعة بصوره مستدامة وتخطيط التنمية على المدى الطويل.

أقصى موعد لتسليم العروض 30 ابريل 2024 الساعة 11:59 مساءاً لمناقصة بناء أحواض حصاد المياه و 21 أبريل لمناقصة شراء مواد الأنتاج ألزراعي وفي طيه الوثائق التالية : 

• صورة من السجل التجاري ساري المفعول،   صورة من البطاقة الضريبية سارية المفعول،   وصورة من البطاقة التأمينية سارية المفعول. 

على جميع المتقدمين إظهار ما يثبت اختصاصهم في المناقصة المتقدم فيها. مع العلم بان منظمة الفاو غير ملزمة بتقديم أية أسباب الرفض أو قبول العطاءات.

كما يمكن التواصل مع مكتب منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة من خلال عنوان المنظمة الواقع في صنعاء، فج عطان، خلف السفاره التركية خلال أوقات الدوام الرسمي (الأحد إلى الأربعاء من 8:00 إلى 4:00 والخميس من 8:00 إلى 02:30).
