Scholarship Announcement –Coalition of Relief and Building 

The Coalition of Relief and Building, in partnership with the Saylani Welfare International Trust – Pakistan, is pleased to announce the launch of a pioneering training project entitled: Project CODE – Empowering Yemeni Youth with Modern Programming Skills. The initiative aims to empower 25 young Yemeni men and women with modern coding skills, enabling them to contribute positively to their communities.

Project Concept:

• CODE is a free 12-month training program in:
• Mobile application development
• Web development and programming
• Freelancing through global tech platforms

Participants will receive hands-on, professional training from a select team of certified trainers. The program will provide a comprehensive learning environment along with opportunities for practical implementation and individual projects.

Project Objectives:

• Empower youth with the digital skills required for the labor market.
• Improve employment and freelancing opportunities.
• Foster a generation capable of contributing to Yemen's digital economy.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be a Yemeni national.
• Very good command of the English language. 
• Aged between 18 – 25 years old.
• Having a strong desire to learn and commitment throughout the training period.
• Proficiency in using computers and the Internet.
