• Job Title: Odoo ERP Developer

About the Role:

This is a contract role for an Odoo ERP Developer located in Sana'a. As an Odoo ERP Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and managing the Odoo ERP system. You will work closely with project managers, development teams, and end-users to ensure systems reliability and usability. You will also help translate business requirements into technical solutions and help support end-users with their day-to-day questions and issues.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Odoo apps (new module development, customization).
• Act as super-admin for the ERP solution.
• Be part of Sprint meetings to discuss project development progress/challenges/scope etc.
• Added advantage for candidate who has knowledge of Odoo Ul JS framework.
• Added advantage for candidate who has knowledge in code migration.
• Customizing Odoo and integration with third party systems using API’s.
• Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements.
• Experience with upgrading Odoo from version to another version.
• Consistently create quality software that meets specific design and requirements on stated timelines
• Enhance applications, develop and configure features and functionalities that support business requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and managing the Odoo ERP system
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Expertise in implementing and configuring core Odoo ERP modules, including Sales, Finance, Inventory, and Manufacturing
• Experience in developing custom modules and integrating third-party modules
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices, including version control and deployment processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of git.

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum framework.
