Job Title: Civil Engineer or similar related Engineering Majors (Female candidates Preferred)

Job Duties :

• Conduct a wide range of logistics and tendering duties including but not limited to the following:
• Using of computer software for developing project designs
• Conduct complex calculations
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• Resolve design and development problems
• Managing related budgets and project resources
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases.
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health, safety & environment.
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale throughout large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site study/researches and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Provide logistical support, advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Supervise and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Hand over the resulting structures and services for use
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
• Assess potential risks, materials and material and labor costs
• Liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Monitor progress of projects
• Produce reports in project status
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably in civil or construction or related field. Construction/renovation field experience favorable 
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in community development and/or mobilization, logistics and tendering. 
• Professional command of English, spoken and written 
• Basic Computer skills 
• Female Engineering Candidates are preferred.
