Job Description
Project Site Coordinator -2
- Location: Aden/Lahj Governorates (with regular travel to other sites).
- Period: 11 months, renewable subject to performance.
- Duty Station: Life Makers Meeting Place Organization (LMMPO), Aden/Lahj –Yemen.
- Terms: Full Time Position (8 Eight hours per working day), with field visits to the work sites.
- Classification: Programs & projects Management\ project manager
- Expected start Date: 01-05-2025.
- Job grade: - Fifth degree.

LMMPO is keen to have a competent candidate to fill the position of Project Site Coordinator.
Purpose/Scope of the task
He manages the main and sub-tasks of his work in the project, in addition to field supervision of the work team within the project work plan.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. Work full-time in the assigned district to ensure consistent oversight and implementation of project activities.
2. Assist in supervise and monitor the day-to-day implementation of project activities on the ground to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
3. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with project standards
4. Liaise and coordinate with the key stakeholders in the assigned district and governorate level if needed.
5. Receive, review, and consolidate field reports from project teams and contractors.
6. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress, challenges, and outcomes to the Project Manager.
7. Collaborate with LMMPO Admins to follow up on internal administrative procedures, such as logistic, monitoring and documentation.
8. Utilize strong community mobilization skills to engage local communities, ensure their participation, and address any concerns or conflicts.
9. Leverage a solid understanding of the local context to navigate cultural, social, and environmental factors that may impact project implementation.
10. Provide support to the technical aspects of the project, such as infrastructure development or water systems.
11. Ensure that the selection of beneficiaries of the project activities are based on the certiria of the project's requirements.
12. Any other tasks related to the project.
Qualifications and Skills
Study and Training:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent certificate/diploma or similar qualification from a recognized establishment or equivalent experiences.
Languages:
- It is better to have English Languages (Speaking and Writing).
Experience & Skills:
- At least 2 years’ professional experience in a comparable position including extensive fieldwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural contexts.
- Proven ability of using office project system.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
