We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative with experience in insurance to join our tourism team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, along with a deep understanding of insurance products and services. As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell our tourism offerings, while leveraging your knowledge of insurance to develop tailored packages for clients. 

Responsibilities:

1. Drive Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets by actively promoting our tourism offerings to potential customers. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to foster long-term business partnerships.

2. Insurance Expertise: Utilize your experience in insurance to provide valuable insights to clients when creating travel packages. Understand clients' individual needs and match them to suitable insurance options, providing comprehensive coverage.

3. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest tourism products, services, and insurance trends. Demonstrate a deep understanding of our offerings and can effectively communicate their value to potential customers.

4. Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service at all stages of the sales cycle. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Strive to deliver a personalized and memorable customer experience.

5. Negotiation and Sales Techniques: Employ effective negotiation strategies to convert leads into sales. Utilize creative sales techniques to overcome objections and highlight unique selling points of our tourism services and insurance offerings.

6. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customer segments and competitors' offerings. Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities. Provide regular reports on market dynamics and suggest strategies to enhance sales performance.

Requirements:

1. Previous Experience: Proven track record as a successful Sales Representative in the tourism industry, ideally with exposure to insurance sales. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

2. Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with various insurance products and services, such as travel insurance, trip cancellation coverage, and medical insurance. Understanding of insurance policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.

3. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers at all levels. Ability to communicate complex insurance information in a clear and concise manner.

4. Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to understand and anticipate customer needs, providing tailored solutions to maximize customer satisfaction. Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer concerns effectively.

5. Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proficient in persuasion and negotiation techniques with a proven ability to close sales. Strong sales presentation skills with the ability to adapt to different customers and situations.

6. Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proactive and self-motivated work approach with a strong attention to detail.

7. Travel Experience: Knowledge and passion for the tourism industry, preferably with personal travel experience. Familiarity with popular travel destinations, attractions, and travel-related services.

8. Computer Skills: Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management tools.
