Médecins Sans Frontières France is advertising for the following position:

 STOREKEEPER 

Location: Aden MSF Hospital – behind Sadaqa Hospital. 
Contract type: Fixed-Term 4 months contract
Reporting to: Supply chain Supervisor

Main Purpose: Executing the stock management activities (receipt, storage, and issuance to projects or other departments of medical supplies, food items, spare parts, tools, equipment and/ or other logistics materials), according to the line manager’s instructions and MSF standards and protocols, in order to ensure the overall functioning of MSF activities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• He/she is in charge of the warehouse and all logistics stocks ( Log Store and Feul Store).
• In charge of stock replenishment.
• In charge of stock cards and UF update.
• Regular check on the inventory levels (physical counts) and keep inventories up to date.   
• Responsible for fuelling of cars and generators during office hours and maintain the stock well updated.
• Prepare the necessary reception area for the incoming goods and dispatching area.
• Receive all locally procured items from the Purchasing Officer .
• Ensure safe and clean storage condition of all logistics items. 
• Storing materials in accordance with the system in force in order to ensure continuous availability ensuring that all items are well organized and correctly stored, well protected, fully identified and easily accessible (cleanliness, security, access, etc.).
• Draw up monthly( QUARTLY ) stock replenishment orders (IR) on basis of the stock quantities and the expected consumption. 
• Ensure the good condition of all items and parcels before their dispatch.
• Prepare all freight documents for the dispatch to the projects (packing list for log items,and medical local purchase).
• In cooperation with the direct supervisor, organize daily workers as required in order to fulfill his/her tasks. 
• On request of his/her line manager and following the operational needs, cover additional/different tasks in the field of his/her expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    Education    Essential secondary education and warehouse management related studies

    Experience    Previous experience as storekeeper desirable

    Languages   English essential. Arabic desirable

    Knowledge    

• Essential basic mathematics and use of measuring equipment 
• Essential computer literacy (Word, excel, outlook and web browser)
• Desirable ability to do basic repairs
