Tasks and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Communications Manager and Content Creator who will play a central role in shaping and delivering the organization’s voice across multiple platforms. This position is responsible for developing strategic communication plans, creating compelling content, managing digital and social media channels, and ensuring brand consistency in all outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with strategic thinking, helping to raise the organization’s visibility, engage key audiences, and support advocacy and programmatic goals through high-quality communication initiatives.
Strategic Communication and Planning:
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with the organization's goals and brand identity.
- Design and execute communication campaigns across multiple platforms (digital, print, media).
- Plan and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content delivery.
Content Creation and Management:
- Produce high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content, including articles, blog posts, newsletters, press releases, social media posts, videos, and infographics.
- Ensure all content aligns with the organization's voice, messaging, and style guidelines.
- Gather stories, case studies, and testimonials from the field or team members to support storytelling and advocacy efforts.
Digital Communication and Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow the organization's social media presence across platforms.
- Create and schedule engaging content tailored to each platform’s audience and format.
- Monitor social media trends and public sentiment, ensuring timely and relevant responses.
Brand Management and Visual Identity:
- Uphold the organization’s brand guidelines across all communication materials.
- Produce or coordinate basic visual content (social media graphics, event flyers, presentation materials).
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual presentation across all platforms.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of communication activities (e.g., social media engagement, website analytics).
- Prepare regular reports highlighting communication achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Coordination and Capacity Support:
- Work with external vendors (designers, videographers, consultants) as needed to produce high-quality materials.
- Provide communication guidance and support to team members to ensure consistency and quality across departments.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in communications, media relations, content creation, or similar roles.
- Experience working in the nonprofit, development, humanitarian, or coporate is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats and for diverse audiences.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging with media and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube) and digital tools.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles, content marketing strategies, and website CMS (e.g., WordPress).
- Ability to develop basic visual content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical skills to track communications metrics, report on performance, and refine strategies.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to brand consistency.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Fluency in English and Arabic is required;
