Yemen Loan Guarantee Program – Internship

Background:

YLG is a not-for-profit guarantee provider established by the Social Fund for Development in 2017 to increase the facilitation of credit to SMEs to support their growth and expansion. YLG provides partial guarantees on loans made by PFIs (banks and microfinance institutions MFIs) to micro and small enterprise borrowers all over Yemen.

Qualification and experience:

Recent university Graduates 2023-2024 in accounting, Multimedia, Graphics Fields.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working with YLG as an intern in finance Department as per YLG relevant scope of work in the field of microfinance, SMEs and guarantee provision. 

Technical skills:

* For Finance Dep:

• Familiarity with the basics of accounting and finance.
• Knowledge of using Office programs (Excel), in particular.
• Ability to deal with financial systems or accounting programs.

* For Communication Dep:

• Proficiency in animation software (Adobe After Effects)
• Proficiency in graphic design tools.

Personal skills:

*For Finance Dep:

• Accuracy and attention to details.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility and commitment.
• Ability to adhere to specified training hours.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibilities

* For Communication Dep:
