CCCM Supervisor- FSAC&CCCM

  • Location:  Dhamar Governorates (with regular travel to other sites).
  • Period: 8 months, renewable subject to performance.
  • Duty Station: Life Makers Meeting Place Organization (LMMPO) Sana’a, Dhamar city–Yemen.
  • Terms: Full Time Position (8 Eight hours per working day), with field visits to the work sites.
  • Classification: Programs & projects Management\ FSAC&CCCM Sectors.
  • Expected start Date: 01-09-2025.
  • Job grade: - third degree.

LMMPO is keen to have a competent candidate to fill the position of CCCM Supervisor- FSAC&CCCM.

Purpose/Scope of the task

She or he will be responsible to supervise the community committee who will work among the targeted sites, reviewing the collecting data, direct and continuing supervising the implementing CCCM activities and insure from the quality implementation and if it is align with the determined standards and required need. Responsible to determine the gaps and real need in the targeted sites and raising reports to the project manager and updating the sites details., Conduct community meetings to explain the program’s objectives and benefits, Track the progress and impact of the cash assistance distribution program. (Field Office). 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Represent the LMMPO and ensure the participation and updates of the Head of Programs and other relevant colleagues in key coalition discussions.
  • Ensure the involvement of key humanitarian partners in the sector, taking into account their mandates and program priorities.
  • Oversee the convening of cluster members and service providers to identify overall requirements for responding to IDP situations in sites and camps.
  • Oversee support for the development of funding proposals, project budgets, and donor reports.
  • Oversee the capacity building of project staff and the transfer of key skills.
  • Oversee the quality assurance of planning, implementation, monitoring, and lessons learned across all technical aspects of sector activities.
  • Oversee the implementation of adequate monitoring, reporting, and information-sharing mechanisms.
  • Oversee the involvement of all relevant partners in camp needs assessments and analysis, and gap identification—assessing, verifying, and mapping emerging assistance needs and protection concerns.
  • Oversee the conduct of regular gap analyses based on verified needs.
  • Ensure effective coordination with the Management Unit and other NGO implementing partners, and proactively engage with relevant clusters and local authorities.
  • Oversee all FSAC and CCCM activities in targeted locations, coordinating with local authorities, IDPs and host communities, NGO partners, and the FSAC and CCCM sub-cluster to plan and implement site-level interventions.
  • Oversee ensuring that project staff have the necessary expertise in managing FSAC and CCCM activities.
  • Oversee maintaining close relationships with the partner management responsible for the project, in coordination with the head of the partner NGO, the UNHCR office, and the FSAC and CCCM focal points.
  • Oversee and coordinate with members to harmonize site/central management approaches, tools, and methodologies, and any other technical discussions.
  • Oversee priority setting, programmer planning, and implementation assistance for all CM projects.
  • Oversee the provision of all Change Management staff with the necessary technical guidance, including documentation and training, to implement the Change Management portfolio.
  • Oversee the submission and follow-up of technical and operational recommendations to improve impact, integration, and leverage synergies.
  • Oversee the coordination of IDP registration, with particular attention to gender, age, and diversity dimensions; and update the population register.
  • Oversee the office's support in recruiting new staff for the Food Security and Agriculture Committee and the Camp Coordination Committee and coordinating their activities.
  • Oversee the standardization of the Change Management system and related tools.
  • Oversee the development and integration of monitoring and evaluation procedures and practices and the complaints mechanism into the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the provision of quality control and site monitoring to ensure that Change Management services are delivered according to the required standards, in accordance with the National Cluster guidelines.
  • Oversee the monitoring of expected outputs and outcomes, including the quality improvement plan.
  • Oversee innovation and encourage the use of appropriate technologies that enable service delivery.
  • Oversee the timely submission of high-quality reports.
  • Oversee the promotion of strategies to build and enhance trust among local communities in IDP sites, as well as among camp residents and surrounding communities.
  • Oversee the management of the distribution of non-food items and emergency shelters as needed, including ensuring the sequencing of assistance provided to new arrivals.
  • Commit to professional and personal conduct that ensures LMMPO's credibility and does not compromise its humanitarian mission.
  • Any other project-related tasks.

Qualifications and Skills 

  • A university degree in management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience with local and international organizations in the same field required.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the same field (working in the Emergency Food Security and CCCM Support for the vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities.

Languages:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (Speaking & Writing).
