Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium in Yemen mission is looking for Yemeni nationals to recruit for the CLEANER position.

Location: Aden base (Aden project)
Contract duration: Six (6) months, with the possibility of extension
Contract type: Fixed-Term contract 
Reporting to: HR/FIN Assistant

Main Purpose:

Execute, according to hygienic standards, housekeeping, cleaning and tiding up activities in order to ensure public and staff private areas are in good condition.

Accountabilities:

• Clean offices, bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and other rooms in MSF houses and offices.
• Do the laundry iron clothes and other housekeeping activities.
• Support the cook (washing up, cleaning the kitchen, etc.).
• Sweep and mop the floors.
• Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.) as required.
• Upon arrival, prepare hot water for tea/coffee and refill drinking water.
• Check that the toilets are well stocked with paper and soap.
• Check that the water supply (kitchen, showers, etc.) is sufficient during water cuts.
• Keep premises properly locked (doors, windows).

Job requirements

Education: Essential basic literacy

Experience:     

• Minimum 1 year work experience as cleaner
• Previous experience in similar role for hotels or big-size offices desirable

Knowledge:  Basic command of English desirable

تبحث منظمة أطباء بلا حدود – بلجيكا في اليمن عن مرشحين/مرشحات يمنيين لشغل وظيفة عامل/ة نظافة.

• مكان العمل: قاعدة عدن (مشروع عدن)
• مدة العقد: ستة (6) أشهر مع إمكانية التمديد
• نوع العقد: عقد محدد المدة
• المشرف المباشر: مساعد الموارد البشرية/المالية

الغرض الرئيسي من الوظيفة:

تنفيذ أعمال التنظيف والترتيب والنظافة وفقًا للمعايير الصحية المعتمدة، لضمان بقاء الأماكن العامة والخاصة بالموظفين في حالة جيدة.

المسؤوليات:

• تنظيف المكاتب، غرف النوم، الحمّامات، دورات المياه، وبقية الغرف في بيوت ومكاتب أطباء بلا حدود.
• القيام بأعمال الغسيل وكيّ الملابس والمهام المنزلية الأخرى.
• دعم الطباخ/ة (غسل الأواني، تنظيف المطبخ، إلخ).
• كنس ومسح الأرضيات.
• إعادة تعبئة المستلزمات (ورق التواليت، الصابون، إلخ) عند الحاجة.
• عند الوصول، تجهيز الماء الساخن للشاي/القهوة وتعبئة مياه الشرب.
• التأكد من توفر الورق والصابون في دورات المياه.
• التحقق من كفاية إمدادات المياه (المطبخ، الحمّامات، إلخ) أثناء انقطاعات المياه.
• الحفاظ على إغلاق المباني بشكل جيد (الأبواب، النوافذ).

متطلبات الوظيفة:

• التعليم:  القدرة الأساسية على القراءة والكتابة
• الخبرة:  خبرة لا تقل عن سنة واحدة في مجال النظافة
• الخبرة السابقة في الفنادق أو المكاتب الكبيرة ميزة إضافية
• المعرفة: إلمام أساسي باللغة الإنجليزية يُعد ميزة
